The ABB DI810 (3BSE008508R1) is a 16-channel, 24 V DC digital input module for the S800 I/O system. Its inputs are arranged in two isolated groups of eight channels, with process-voltage supervision and individual channel-status indicators.
The ABB DI810, article number 3BSE008508R1, is a 16-channel digital input module for the ABB S800 I/O platform. It is designed to receive 24 V DC current-sinking input signals from industrial switches, relay contacts, limit switches, proximity sensors and other discrete field devices.
The normal input-voltage range is 18–30 V DC, with an input current of approximately 6 mA at 24 V. ABB specifies a logical “0” range of -30 to +5 V and a logical “1” range of 15 to 30 V. Selectable digital filter times of 2, 4, 8 or 16 ms allow the input response to be adapted to signal noise and switching speed.
The 16 channels are divided into two groups of eight. Each group is isolated from ground and has one process-voltage supervision input. Every channel includes current-limiting components, EMC protection, an input-state LED and an optical isolation barrier to the ModuleBus. Typical power dissipation is 1.8 W.
DI810 requires a compatible S800 Module Termination Unit. Before ordering, confirm the field-device output type, 24 V DC sensor supply, selected input filter, grounding arrangement and exact TU/MTU model.
