The Bürkert Type 2103 ELEMENT is an externally controlled 2/2-way diaphragm valve consisting of a pneumatically operated piston actuator, a diaphragm and a 2-way valve body. It is designed for reliable shut-off and process control in hygienic and demanding industrial applications.
The stainless steel actuator housing provides high resistance to hygienic and aggressive ambient conditions. Its compact and smooth-surfaced design supports easy cleaning and installation in process environments where hygiene and corrosion resistance are important.
The flow-efficient valve body features low dead space and enables high flow rates. Valve bodies and diaphragms are available in different materials and variants to suit a wide range of media, temperatures and process requirements.
Depending on the selected version, wetted surfaces are available with different surface finishes and can also be electropolished. A wide range of process connection sizes and connection types is available for integration into sanitary and industrial piping systems.
Type 2103 can be combined with Bürkert ELEMENT automation units for decentralized process control. Depending on the configuration, control heads, positioners and fieldbus communication can be integrated or retrofitted.
Its hygienic design, flexible configuration, robust stainless steel actuator and automation capability make Type 2103 suitable for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, water treatment, chemical processing and general process automation applications.
