The Bürkert Type 8652 AirLINE is a modular valve island developed specifically for the requirements of process automation. It integrates pneumatic valve functions, diagnostics and industrial communication into a compact and flexible automation platform.
Integrated diagnostic functions can be displayed on the LC display using clear text and symbols. Diagnostic information is also made available to the controller, allowing operators to quickly identify system conditions and helping reduce commissioning and maintenance time.
The hardware is optimized for installation at the bottom of a control cabinet and can also be mounted on a standard rail. Its modular construction allows different valve station configurations to be adapted to individual automation requirements.
Type 8652 incorporates pneumatic functions designed to improve process reliability. Check valves in the exhaust air channels help prevent unintended actuator movement caused by pressure peaks. Safety-related shut-off of valves is also available depending on the selected system configuration.
Depending on the version, industrial communication options can include PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT and other supported interfaces. PROFINET S2 system redundancy is available for applications requiring increased plant availability.
Different configurations are available with multiple valve stations, pneumatic connection options and manifold materials. Versions for hazardous areas are also available with certifications such as ATEX and IECEx depending on configuration.
With its modular design, integrated diagnostics and flexible communication capabilities, Bürkert Type 8652 AirLINE is suitable for pharmaceutical and biotechnology production, food and beverage processing, water treatment, chemical processing and general industrial process automation.
