The DUNGS FRNG 515 is an Rp 1 1/2 spring-loaded regulator for zero-pressure, 1:1 air/gas ratio and pneumatic gas-pressure control. It has a general maximum operating pressure of 500 mbar and provides internal outlet-pressure sensing with provisions for external impulse and blower-pressure connections.
The DUNGS FRNG 515 is a mechanical, spring-loaded gas pressure regulator designed for zero-pressure regulation, approximately 1:1 air/gas ratio control and pneumatically controlled gas systems. The FRNG 515 uses an Rp 1 1/2 threaded gas connection and has a general maximum operating pressure of 500 mbar.
According to the current DUNGS operating manual, the maximum inlet pressure is 200 mbar in zero-pressure and air/gas ratio applications. The zero-pressure outlet range is -3 to +5 mbar, while the air/gas ratio outlet range is -10 to +150 mbar. In pneumatically controlled operation, the inlet pressure may be up to 500 mbar and the outlet pressure up to 350 mbar, with fan or control pressure limited to 150 mbar.
The factory standard spring range is 2.5 to 9 mbar, while alternative springs cover ranges up to 200 mbar. The regulator complies with EN 88-1 Class A, Group 2, operates from -15 °C to +70 °C and is suitable for gas families 1, 2 and 3 and other neutral gaseous media. Internal outlet-pressure sensing is standard; external impulse, blower-pressure and optional bypass arrangements are available for application-specific configurations.
