The Rosemount 3144P is a configurable two-wire field-mount temperature transmitter for critical process measurements. It accepts single or dual RTD, thermocouple, millivolt and resistance inputs and provides either 4–20 mA HART or FOUNDATION Fieldbus output. Dual-input versions can support Hot Backup, sensor drift monitoring and differential or average temperature functions. The Rosemount 3144P is a high-performance, two-wire field temperature transmitter housed in a dual-compartment enclosure. It supports single or dual inputs from RTDs, thermocouples, millivolt and resistance sources and converts the selected measurement into a 4–20 mA HART or FOUNDATION Fieldbus signal.
Depending on the selected order code, the transmitter can provide Hot Backup, sensor drift alerts, thermocouple degradation diagnostics, differential or average temperature calculation, minimum and maximum tracking, an LCD display, advanced Fieldbus diagnostics and functional-safety options. Transmitter-sensor matching can improve total measurement accuracy when compatible sensor calibration constants are entered. Exact performance, sensor compatibility, communication, housing, mounting and approvals depend on the complete configured model code.
