Thermo Scientific Orion STARA2220 is the Orion Star A222 portable conductivity meter designed for reliable field and laboratory water quality measurements.
The meter measures conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, resistivity and temperature using compatible conductivity sensors.
It supports both 2-cell and 4-cell conductivity sensors with integrated temperature measurement through an 8-pin MiniDIN connection.
The conductivity measurement range extends from 0.001 µS/cm to 3000 mS/cm, with automatic ranging for convenient measurement across a wide range of samples.
Temperature compensation can be configured using linear or nonlinear options, with selectable reference temperatures of 15°C, 20°C or 25°C.
The meter supports up to five conductivity calibration points and can store up to 1,000 data sets with date and time stamps.
Measurement results can be transferred to a computer or printer through USB or RS232 connections.
Its IP67 waterproof housing, backlit graphic LCD and long battery life make it suitable for routine laboratory analysis as well as demanding field applications.
STARA2220 includes the Star A222 meter, four AA batteries, quick start documentation, USB computer cable and meter test certificate. The conductivity sensor is sold separately.
