ThreeBond 1401 is a screw locking agent developed to prevent threaded fasteners from loosening due to vibration and impact.
Its high-penetration formulation allows the product to penetrate into threaded gaps after the screw has already been tightened, making it convenient for post-assembly locking applications.
The product uses a solvent-volatilizing mechanism. After application, the solvent evaporates and a flexible film remains around the threaded area to help maintain fastening stability.
ThreeBond 1401 is a low-strength grade, making it suitable for applications where fasteners may need to be removed later for inspection or maintenance.
The main component is vinyl acetate resin. The product has a colorless to light-yellow appearance and a viscosity of approximately 445 mPa·s.
