ThreeBond 2202C is a one-component heat-curing epoxy compound resin developed for high-strength bonding, fixing and potting applications.
Because it is supplied as a single-component material, no separate weighing or mixing of a hardener is required before application. The product cures by heating and is designed to provide strong and reliable adhesion.
ThreeBond 2202C also offers low-temperature heat-curing capability. In selected medical-device applications, ThreeBond states that the product can be cured at approximately 80°C, helping reduce thermal impact on components and internal equipment.
The main component is epoxy resin, and the product has a white appearance.
Typical applications include bonding and potting electrical components, bonding and fixing connector terminals, and selected medical-device assemblies such as needle components and endoscope-related parts.
ThreeBond 2202C has also undergone ISO 10993 compliance testing for biological safety assessment.
