The TLV J3X / JF3X Free Float Steam Trap is designed for reliable condensate drainage from low-pressure steam systems and small process equipment.
Its self-modulating Free Float mechanism continuously adjusts condensate discharge according to the actual process load. This provides smooth, low-velocity drainage and helps maintain stable process performance.
The trap uses a simple float mechanism with only one principal moving component, helping reduce concentrated wear and provide long service life.
An integrated thermostatic air vent automatically removes air during start-up and closes as the temperature approaches steam conditions, helping improve start-up performance and steam system efficiency.
A built-in large-area strainer helps protect the internal valve mechanism from dirt and debris, supporting reliable operation and reduced maintenance requirements.
The internal components can be accessed in-line for inspection, cleaning and servicing without removing the complete trap from the piping system.
J3X versions are available with screwed connections, while JF3X versions use flanged connections. Available sizes, orifices and operating pressure ranges depend on the selected configuration.
Typical applications include steam process equipment, heat exchangers, heating systems, small production equipment and general industrial condensate drainage.
Please confirm the required model, connection size, operating pressure and installation conditions before purchase.
