The Trolex TX6373 Toxic Gas Detector is a fixed gas monitoring instrument using high-accuracy electrochemical sensing technology for continuous detection of toxic and industrial gases in demanding environments.

The TX6373 can be configured for a wide range of gases including CO, H2S, SO2, H2, NH3, NO2, Cl2, NO and O2, depending on the selected sensing module and application requirements.

Its pre-calibrated plug-in gas sensing module provides a standardised output and allows convenient sensor replacement and servicing. ZERO and SPAN calibration can be carried out using the integrated push-button calibration function.

Depending on configuration, available output signals include 4–20 mA, 0.4–2 V and 5–15 Hz, allowing integration with industrial control, alarm and monitoring systems.

The detector features a rugged anti-static polycarbonate/ABS housing and intrinsically safe configurations are available for Group I and Group II hazardous areas.

The TX6373 is suitable for SIL 1 and SIL 2 applications when used in accordance with the applicable conditions and restrictions.

An optional remote-mounted gas sensing module is also available for applications where the sensing point needs to be separated from the main transmitter.

Typical applications include mining, chemical processing, heavy industry, process plants, hazardous areas and other facilities requiring continuous toxic gas monitoring.
