The Honeywell C7061A1012 is a legacy model from the C7061A Dynamic Self-Check Ultraviolet Flame Detector family. It detects ultraviolet radiation produced by gas, oil and other carbon-based flames and transmits the flame signal to a compatible Honeywell flame amplifier and burner safeguard control.
An oscillating shutter interrupts the optical path approximately 12 times per minute, allowing the UV sensing tube and associated self-check circuit to be monitored during burner operation. The standard C7061A housing is violet cast aluminum, meets NEMA 4 requirements and incorporates a protective heat block. The UV sensing tube, quartz viewing window, coil and shutter assembly are serviceable components.
