LAMTEC F200K Ex-II is a compact SIL 3 flame scanner for continuous flame monitoring in Ex Zone 2/22. It integrates the flame sensor and switching amplifier in an IP67 housing and is available in UV and IR spectral versions; before quotation, confirm the spectrum, housing, output signal, safety time, cable and complete 659R60... order code.
The LAMTEC F200K Ex-II is a compact flame scanner designed for continuous safety-related flame monitoring in hazardous areas classified as Ex Zone 2 and Zone 22. The flame sensor and switching amplifier are integrated into one corrosion-resistant aluminium housing, reducing external components and simplifying installation.
Depending on the selected configuration, the F200K Ex-II is available with UV-2, UV-6, IR-1 or IR-2 spectral detection. This allows it to monitor flames produced by oil, gas, hydrogen, biomass, coal, refinery gas, blast-furnace gas and other special fuels. The scanner provides digital flame-frequency evaluation, adjustable sensitivity, LED status indication, a floating flame relay contact and a standard 4-20 mA flame-intensity output.
The unit operates from 24 VDC, supports continuous operation, provides IP67 and NEMA 4X protection, and is certified to SIL 3 according to DIN EN 61508-2. The exact spectral version, housing configuration, mains-frequency suppression, current output, flame failure detection time and connecting cable must be confirmed before quotation. The connecting cable is normally ordered separately.
